One good way we avoid that scenario is to charge them for the design at a flat fee that you determine. OR what we would do is tell the client "normally our design service is $350 per image, but if you hire us to do the job we only charge $100 for the design". So it looks like you are giving them a discount on the service if they buy the materials and labor from you. If it's a good paying job you could even say the digital design is free if you think you will make up enough from the install.
I just thought it was worth mentioning for those who aren't sure how to use this program to make money and get the jobs. People are holding onto their pocket books pretty tight so you have to work with them or make them think they are getting a good deal!
